Full Course Information

If you have key stage 3 or 4 children who are struggling to take notes fast enough or to keep their notes in order, this two part video course is going to make a big difference! Led by our LLP teacher Kate, this course teaches children how to abbreviate key words and organise their notes so that their learning because much more active than passive, they are able to write much less but understand more, and their notes are meaningful and helpful when they need to refer back to them in the future (for example, when they are studying for exams). We asked Kate to create this course because so many parents requested support with note taking. This course is also available as part of a longer 6 week course which covers the Cornell method of note taking as well as other ways to make note taking and revision easier.
