the ancient cities of Greece and Rome in this
Foundation Stories mini course. Covering all of the
essential material for the OCR Classical
Civilisation GCSE, you will meet Athena and
Poseidon who just can’t decide who should be the
patron of Athens, Theseus on his quest to become
ruler of a united city, Aeneas as he escapes the
ruins of burning Troy and little Romulus and
Remus, abandoned by their mother and raised by
a she-wolf.
While looking at the prescribed
sources, we will gain a picture of why the
foundation stories of these cities were so
important to the people who lived there. Led by
LLP Classics teacher, Kate, there will also be
plenty of exam practice along the way.
