What was the Underworld really like? 


In this mini course, you will learn about the story of Persephone’s abduction by Hades and the tragic love story of Orpheus and Eurydice. Using these myths, we can form a picture of the Underworld and practise our essay-writing skills by discussing how sad and scary the after life really was for the Greeks and Romans. 


Led by LLP Classics teacher, Kate, this mini course covers the necessary prescribed sources (plus Stretch & Challenge material) for the Underworld Myths section of the GCSE syllabus.
