Essay writing is an important skill to achieve success in a number of subjects, but it’s sometimes difficult to know where to start. This course will help the sometimes overwhelming process to seem straightforward and stress-free, with a number of top tips and easy methods to create effective essays. Several simple formulae are provided which can be transferred to essay writing in any subject.
Led by our LLP teacher Kate, this course includes 4 videos:
Essay Ingredients (how to recognise an essay question in an exam, and the basic necessities for crafting an essay)
Essay Structure (with a focus on introductions and conclusions)
P.E.E.L. (using a simple method to structure body paragraphs)
Golden Words and Phrases (key vocabulary which will get the examiner’s pen ticking!)
Each lesson features a helpful worksheet which can be used both during and after the lesson.
