Welcome to my mini course PHONICS FOR BEGINNERS. 

Nothing is more exciting than the look on a child’s face when they first begin to read…first words, then sentences and finally books…

This course is perfect for children who are starting on their reading and spelling journey. 

Over the course of six sessions, I cover all the phonemes and tricky words from Phase 2 phonics in a fun and exciting way.

Young children have very short attention spans and this is absolutely perfect as you have the ability to pause the sessions and do as little or as much as you like in one go. The sessions can be repeated as many times as you like as repetition is perfect for retaining all the phonic sounds.

In the sessions we learn phoneme sounds, practise reading, writing and complete lots of fun activities including crafts for each phoneme. 

Each session is packed full of resources that can be used during the lesson  and after too. Plus I give you many ideas for how you can help your child progress with their reading and spelling. 

By the end of the mini course your child will be armed with all the knowledge they need to start reading and spelling.
