This is a 5 lesson course that covers the basics of research methods needed for the GCSE course. Research methods knowledge is essential for the GCSE as it can appear as a question across both papers in any unit and is the basis for evaluating the studies we look at throughout the course. 

Lesson 1 looks at hypothesis, variables, experiments and experimental design.
Lesson 2 looks at sampling, ethics and interviews.
Lesson 3 looks at observations, correlations and questionnaires.
Lesson 4 looks at case studies, types of data and reliability and validity as key concepts.
Lesson 5 looks at descriptive statistics, display of data and computation.
